THE SUDAN TROUBLE.
ARREST OF MALCONTENTS. CONSIDERED TO BE LEGAL. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Dec. 2, 1.45 p.m CAIRO, Dec. 1. The judge has decided that the Government’s position in regard to the arrest of various malcontents is legal, and ordered the continued detention of the arrested deputies, Who were remanded for a fortnight. It is understood that as a result of the conference the Government has accepted the balance of the British demands. It. is reported that the Ministers for Education and Public Works have resigned. ZAGHLUL’S ADVICE. CAIRO. Dec. 1. As a result of Zaghlul having advised a deputation of medical students who visited him at his hotel near the Pyramids (whither he has, temporarily at least, retired) to continue their studies, all the medical students attended the schools yesterday, and the schools geenrally are normal this morning.
