TRAVELLING SHOWMAN.
ARRESTED AT ELTHAM. A SERIOUS CHARGE. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESB ASSOCIATION. ELTHAM, Dec. 1. A travelling showman, Stanley George Harwood, who had run a hoopla stall at the Stratford Show and arrived in Eltham with a travelling merry-go-round company, was arrested on Saturday on a charge of indecent assault on an eight-year-old girl. The Magistrate’s Court granted a remand till Friday.
