POISON GAS TRIALS.
EXPERIMENTS ON CONVICTS. BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT CHRISTIANIA, Nov. 28. ■’ The military correspondent of the Aftenpost declares that Russia has the highest developed system in Europe for usmg gas in time of war. The country has been divided into four experimental sections for carrying our - extensive investigations. Even horses and convicts were used for the experiments in the Ukraine, in which sixty men convicts were killed. Later testings of a gas bombardment from aeroplanes killed twenty Cossacks and eleven horses. Poland, France and Germany are intently developing the use of gas.
