ARRESTS IN CAIRO. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION- COPYRIGHT. (Received Nov. 29, 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 28. Reuter’s Cairo correspondent telegraphs that the Sudan down train from Cairo connecting with the Sudan steamer from Haifa is hot departing to-night. There is no further news from Khartoum. The Egyptian police effected thirtyfive arrests to-day, presumably as a precautionary measure,.dictated by the present circumstances. It is understood that three of those arrested are suspected of conspiring against the lives of Lord Allenby and the present Egyptian Ministers. The police have arrested the students’ leader at Alexandria.—Reuter.
