At the inquest on Einer Andreas Neils Larsen, a fruit hawker, a single man, aged 28, who was found dead in a ear shed at the rear of the Coffee Palace this morning, John Mason, proprietor of .the Palace; said the deceased had been endeavouring to. arrange 'fin-* uncial assistance to discharge debts of about £230, but, failed. Deceased wrote a letter to Mason, stating that he contemplated taking his life, and when the body was found a bottle of strychnine was lying, nearby. ; A verdict of .death from. poisoning self-administered while mentally affected through financial worries was returned. Larsen lias relatives in Wa-' nganui. * - - ■■
