■ ARE THEY IN A TOMB? WAS HE TUTANKHAMEN? professor ’s Theory. [Does the tomb of Tutankhamen contain the body of the Joseph of the Bible? The following cable message is rather interesting in view of the following passage from Genesis, chapter 50: “And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you and ye shall carry up my bones from hence. So Joseph died, being 110 years old; and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.] BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT

(Received Nov. 28, 10.50 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 27. The newspaper Jewish Outlook, on the authority of Professor Selikovitsch, publishes a reasoned argument and belief that Tutankhamen was Joseph of the Bible.

The World adds: “Hence it is certain that when the sarcophagus, of Tutankhamen is opened it will be found empty, because the children of Israel took the bones of Joseph with them.” ~
