SECRETARY’S SUICIDE.
MIND UNHINGED. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION. • TTMARtj, Nov. 26. An inquest, touching the death of Herbert S. Russell, late secretary of the Hospital Board, who was' found on Saturday night with his throat cut, was held, before Mr. E. D. Mosley, 3.M. (District Coroner). The evidence showed that the board, owing to a difference of opinion, asked the deceased for his resignation,. and this worried him so much that he was unable to sleep. A verdict of “suicide while in an unsound state of mind” was returned.
