NEW ZEALAND COAL.
ENGINE-JMUVER.’S OBJECTION. (by telegraph—press association. ' TAIHAPE, Nov. 25. A meeting of the Taihape branch of the E.F.G.A. carried a resolution unanimously protesting against New Zealand coal being brought into use on the railways, contending that it was much inferior to Australian coal, and, in view of the heavier engines and trains now in use, New Zealand coal would be detrimental to the successful running of trains.
