_ . WELLINGTON, Nov. 25. Evidence for the defence ,in the libel action Howard Elliott v. the New Zealand Worker, was given by Mr H. E Holland, and Mr. Watson made appli-’ cation that Mr. Holland be joined in the action as one of the defendants, but the application was refused. After counsel for the plaintiff had addressed the court the Magistrate reserved his decision.
