■ BROKEN CONTRACT. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, Nov. U. Judgment, for £226 10s was obtained by Herbert C., Smart in the Supreme Court to-day against Mrs C. M. M. Houston, of Christchurch, for a breach of contract. Plaintiff accepted the agency for a patent furniture polish conditional on certain advertising being done, and this condition was not complied with. ROLLED ON BY HORSE. GISBORNE, Nov. 24. On Sunday Simon Kennedy, aged 60, was thrown from his horse at Tolago Bay, and rolled on by the animal. He was attended by a doctor and nurse, but died to-day.
