THE ALL BLACKS
POWERFUL OPPONENTS. THE WELSH TEAM. ALL INTERNATIONALS. 8* CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Nov. 25, 10.10 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 24. The Welsh fifteen against New Zealand on Saturday will be all internationals, with one exception, and will be captained by the veteran half-back Jack Witter, who played his first international in 1914. They will play seven forwards, including a winger. Doubts are expressed whether they will be able to hold New Zealand’s powerful forwards. Nevertheless critics are optimistically canvassing the prospect of Wales repeating the triumph oi 1905 The match is arousing enormous interest all over the country. The New Zealanders have gone to Tenby to undergo a week’s special preparation. Harvey is still indisposed, otherwise all are well and sanguine of winning.
