ELTHAM.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) SCHOOL COMMITTEE. A special meeting of the School Committee was held last evening for the purpose of considering arrangements for the use of the school baths hv the Swimming Club. The proposals included a standard charge of 7s 6d for adult and 2s 6d for junior season’s tickets. That the club and School Committee sell and the School Committee to receive 5s for all adult and 2s 6d for junior tickets, and 50 per cent of the net proceeds of swimming carnivals and snorts. The School Committee reserve the right to nui sports or competitions if necessary, and undertake to provide a caretaker and general maintenance. Oq the motion of Messrs Maynard, and Michel these conditions were approved, and it is understood that the proposals are acceptable to the Swimming Club.
