SELECTING CANDIDATE FOR PATEA. THREE NAMES SUBMITTED. Supporters of the Reform Party in Hawera and Whareroa are reminded of the meeting, to be held in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Monday, 24th inst.* at 8 p.m. There are 36 delegates from Hawera and 2 from Whareroa to be selected by the meeting. Three gentle, men have submitted their names for selection of the Reform candidate at the conference at Waverlev next Wednesday. They are Mr. E" Dixon (Hawera), who contested the seat last election; Mr. Harold Dickie (Waverley). an d Mr: W. A. Collins (Kai Iwi); chairman of the Wanganui Education Board. These gentlemen, whose names will be submitted to the delegates' at Waverley, have all agreed to abide by the decision of the conference and to support the selected candidate
