'Prisoners sentenced at the Supreme Court Avere: „ koil-a Jacobs, a middle-aged woman lor breaking, entering and theft,‘two years' gaol. Petei Keevil Johnston (28), to three years' gaol on each of three charges of indecent assault qft boys, the sentences to be concurrent. Frederick Wiiliaifts, indecent assault on male, three years’ gaol. George Cain, breaking, entering, and thett, tivo years’ gaol. WELLINGTON, Nov 91 t At the Police Court to-day John Henry Phillips, a butcher, for making false income tax returns for ig&f’ 1922, 1923 and 1924, showing a deficiency of £4367, Avas fined £SO on each charge. Edward Harrison, for theft .of eight opossum skins from the cargo- of the steamer Turakina, was sentenced to 21 days’ imprisonment.
