BANNER MATCH AT PIHAMA. The first Banner match of the Western Division was played at Pihama on Saturday between the local players •and Auroa, the home team winning by 28 points. Following are the scores, Pihama players being mentioned first: L. Harrop, D. Harr op, Neilson, Julian 28; Dunn, Brown, Duff, Kilpatrick 21. Pohe Tito, Glengarry, W. Lambie, Mason 34: Ross, Davies, Barlow, McCarty 13. Totals—Pihama 62, Auroa 34. At the conclusion of the games Mr Ross, on behalf of Auroa, thanked the local players for the hospitality extended to the visitors. Mr Julian thanked Mr Ross for his kind remarks, and wished the Auroa players success in their following games. Cheers for the respective teams and the ladies concluded a very enjoyable afternoon.
