LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 12th inst.: November-December Wool Sales.— The list of arrivals closed on November 10. The following are the available quantities of wool: Australian 55,000 bales; New Zealand, 20,000; Cape 1500;. Punt a Arenas 4500; carried forward 37,000. The following vessels have 'arrived in time for the sales: Remuera, Cbrinthic, Waimana, Tairoa, Ruahine. LONDON TALLOW SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 12th inst.: 840 casks of tallow offered; 810 sold. Since our last week’s report‘prices are generally fid to Is per cwt higher. We mutton 52s fid to 52s 9d; beef 53s 3d; low mutton 455. DAIRY PRODUCE. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their iDondon house under date of the 12th inst.: Butter.—'Since our last report prices are 6s per cwt lower. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 13th inst. (last week’s quotations are in parentheses): Butter.—Market dull. We quote New Zealand finest salted 206 s (2205), New Zealand exoptional brands 208 s (2205); Danish 220 s (2225); finest Australian salted 188 s (198 s), unsalted 198 s (208 s). Cheese. —There is a fair enquiry at the reduced price. New Zealand white (96s> and coloured (955) 925; Canadian 90s to 92s c.i:f.
The total imports of . butter into the United Kingdom for October 'amounted to 416,000 cwt, as compared with 358,000 for the corresponding month of last year.
