Manaia juniors played. Stratford Technical School at Manaia on Saturday, Manaia gaining a three>-poiht win. For Manaia, Clarke 14, A. Young 11 (not out), Hunt 10. and Miller 9 batted well. Thomas (Stratford) batted nicely for 14 in their second innings. The scores were Manaia 70, Stratford 21 and 41. Bowling for Manaia, E. Sutton took five" wickets for 5 runs and L. Whalen five for 6, while for Stratford, Sullivan took two for 9 and Saunders five for 36.
