A BOGUS CLERGYMAN.
The West Hiding police at Pudsey have a warrent for the arrest of a man aged about 28 who has been posing a s a clergyman and offering his services as locum tenen.s to clergymen on holiday. At Pudsey he officiated for the vicar and received £9 9s as payment. It is not known 'whether or not he performed a marriage sevice. He is also' stated to have performed the duties of a clergyman is several parishes in the Bradford area. A ban was placed on him by the Bishop of Bradford and he -is believer now +o have done to other parts of Yorkshire. He has recently been seen at Eve’-, ton, Liverpool. His description is sft 4in in height, slimly built, cleanshaven, wearing a dark lounse suit with clerical collar, and a dark soft hat.
