A lady on a. bicycle had an unenviable experience in Regan, Street on Wednesday afternoon (says the Stratford Post). The borough staff were engaged in tarring operations, and just after a. section of load had received its coat of tar and the men were waiting for the chips to arrive to be spread over it a lady approached on a, push bicycle. ‘She apparently did not see the red discs which informed the public that the road was under , repair ,and dangerous, for traffic, and had only proceeded about n yard on the glassy tarred surface when the bicycle slipped from under her.
