FURTHER ALLEGATIONS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, Nov. 7. In connection '.with the extension of the 1 order of reference of the CropJey Commission, it was stated on behalf of the Crown that the Crown would allege that the terms of a prospective tenancy required the landlord to ciect a petrol pump outside the t renos.es. The chief of the Traffic Department opposed this. Alderman Walter was interviewed, and subsequently the City Council’s approval was given. Aiderman Walker was given a cheque for £25 by the estate agents concerned with the property, which cheque be endorsed and paid into a bank. Tins the Crown alleges was for using hi« inliuenee as an alderman >n securing the erection of the pump. The commission, owing to diificidty in securing witnesses, adjourned till Monday.
