LIBERAL BEQUESTS.
TO NUMEROUS INSTITUTIONS. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. Under the will of the late Mrs Lizzie Rath'oone. of Lower Hutt, fully £70,000 was left to religious, charitable and educational objects. As the greater portion of this sum has been earning interest for some years the amount eventuallv to be distributed will be 1 >etween £BO,OOO and £90.000. The bequests are mostly to institutions 'u various parts of the North Island, though numerous South Island institu'ions will also benefit.
