The secretary (Mr -J. 1 fakers) informed the meeting that the union organiser (M.r MeAlpine) would at some future date re-visit this district and complete the canvassing. All preparations-for the euchre party and dance in aid of the Town queen, to be held in the Kapuni Hal! on Friday night promises to be a great success. Ail arrangements are well in hand. The maiden and o]ien waltzing competition will he well contested, and a good evening’s enjoyment is assured. Creat preparations for the tug-of-war, to be Jieiri in aid of the sports’ queen in the Manaia Town HalL on Wednesday, I.2th. and Friday. 14th, aie well in hand. The different contests will be well worth going a long way to see. A bumner house is assured.
