Turnbull and Co. report that they' have received a cable from Messrs W. Weddel and Co., Ltd., dated London, 31st ult., as follows: Danish butter, 236 to 238 s (last week 242 sto 2445); N.Z. salted butter, 222 s to 224 s (224 sto 2285); N.Z. salted butter, first grade, exceptional, 2265; market slow. N.Z. cheese,-white,-96s (94s to 955); coloured, 96s (94s to 955); coloured and white, exceptional, 98s; small supply. DAIRY PRODUCE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of the 30th ult.: The butter market is very dull and prices are nominal. We quote New Zealand salted, finest 224 s (2265), exceptional brands 228 s (2285); Danish, 238 s (2445); Australian,finest salted 206 s (211 s), unsalted 216 s (2205), The cheese market is slow a.t the advance. New Zealand, white (955) and coloured (945) 96s to 98s; Canadian, c.i.f. quotation 94s to 965.
