AN ACCOMMODATING WIFE. ' LONDON, Oct. 2i. The issue to Viscount.Torringto-n of a certificate of discharge in- bankruptcy has been suspended for two years. His debts were declared at £B9OO, and his assets at £2IBB, on which he paid a dividend of 2s 6d in the £. Lady Torrington, -who figured as a creditor to the extent of £IO,OCO, did not press her claim. Viscount Torrington admitted that he has lost £8975 in betting and attributed his bankruptcy, to his living in excess of his income and heavy losses through betting and gambling.
