JUNIOR CRICKET. : . Technical High School - beat Excelsior B on Saturday by 29 runs. The former scored 92 rims, Cheevers making top score with a splendidly played 72. Excelsior B made 63, of which McKenzie made 25 and Soundy 20. Cheevers four for 29 and Owen four for 17 were the destroying - angels. Midland B beat Manaia juniors by an innings and 27 rune, the scores being Midland 90, Manaia 37 and 26. .For the winners, Wells 38 and Vinnicombe 11 scored best, while Sutton 17 and 10 and Young 11 got doubles for Manaia. Busing seven for 13, Vinnicombe three for 15, Mahoney five for M f° r the winners, and Guise five for 24 for the losers were the beet of the bowlers. NEW PLYMOUTH RESULTS. New Plymouth, 47 and 112 (Shepherd 33), Quickfal] eight for 55, beat Western Park, 98 and 56 (Clarke six for 12).
