FIRE AT FOXTON.
BRIGADE’S SMART SAVE. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. FOXTON, Nov. 3. Fire broke out in Ryder’s boot shop early yesterday morning, doing considerable damage to stock and fittings. Smoke penetrated the upstairs rooms of White’s Hotel in the same block, filling the corridors and bedrooms and causing alarm to the inmates. The brigade made a good save. Owing to the fact that the building was of concrete the fire was confined to the shop. Ryder’s stock was insured for £3OOO in the Atlas Company.
