SUPREME COURT.
PRISONERS SENTENCED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON Nov. 1. At the Supreme Court to-day Joseph Launders, for indecent assault, was sentenced to four years’ hard labour. In the case of David William Fisher, for theft of money, sentence was deferred until Monday. John William, on theft, breaking and entering, was Given two years’ Borstal treatment. Charles Frederick Moody, who was charged with indecent assault, had his sentence deferred until Monday. Stewart Raymond MeCarthur and Charles Hugo Johnson, for the theft of postal packets, were each sentenced to two years in the Bor s tal Institution.
