In the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria, South Australia in their first innings scored 263 for three wickets (Harris 98, Murray 116, V. Richardson not out 29). A splendid partnership by Harris and Murray added 205 for the first wicket, which is a record in matches between these teams. ENGLAND v. GOLDFIELDS PERTH, Nov. 1. The Englishmen in their first innings scored 346 for nine wickets (Sutcliffe 38, Sandham 36, Woolley 67, Hendren 40, Kilner 63, Tate 34, Tyldeslev not out 29). ■ '*
