FARMERS’ CO-OP. ORGANISATION SOCIETY’S REPORT. On Tuesday we conducted our usual fortnightly Urenui sale and'annual bull fair. Despite the change of date (owing to Labour Day) there was an exceptionaally, heavy yarding. There was a large attendance, and we are pleased to report a very successful clearance at the hammer. We quote: F.m. ewes (in lamb) 25s 3d, shorn m.t. ewes 23s 6d, fat woolly ewes 35s 3d, wethers 38s, good store pigs 38s, fat cows £7 to £7 12s 6d, fat heifers £5 12s 6d, good forward cows £4 to £4 10s, heavy works cows £3 10s to £4, store and boner cows at late rates,, mixed empty heifers to £2 Bs, yearling heifers (good Jersey sorts) to. £4 Is 6d, others £2 to £2 17s 6d, dairy heifers calved and close to profit £6 to £7 10s, pedigree Jersey bulls 12gns to 16£gns.
