~~ . ..-r----steamer help up. CREW ANXIOUS TO WORE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPy RIGHT. (Received Oct. 30, i. 40 p.m.) PERTH, Oct. 30. The steamer Volumnia is still held up at Fremantle. Information has been obtained that' a member of the crew has received a cable signed by the secretary of the British Seamen's Union intimating that the crew were breaking their agreements signed at European ports, and that any dispute could be Settled oii their return to England through the National Maritime Board. It is understood that the cable insists upon the 'crew standing by the agreement entered into before the vessel cleared Europe for Australia. The captain of the vessel states that good discipline prevails among’the ] ciew, who are anxious to proceed with the voyage, but it is stated that they are under instructions from the secretary of the Seamen’s Union at Fremantle. „" •
