SUPPLY-OF FLOUR.

ALLEGATIONS OF COMBINE. EFFECT ON DISTRIBUTION. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATIONDUNEDIN. Oct. 29. The case in which the Crown claims a penalty of £SOO from the Crown Milling Company, Dunedin; Fleming and Co.. Invercargill; the Atlas Rollei Flour and Oatmeal Mill, Timaru; Wooc Bros.. Christchurch; and Distributors Ltd.. Christchurch, was continued ir the Supreme Court to-day. An injunction is also being asked againsl the first four companies prohibiting the continuation of the employment oi Distributors, Ltd., as the sole selling agent for flour, bran, and pollard, anti from entering into a similar agreemenl in future. A further injunction is being asked for against Distributors Ltd., prohibiting them from continuing to act as sole selling agent. Archibald Lindsay, a baker, said thal after Distributors, Ltd., came into ex istenee he could not get the Oamarv flour he previously used. He was al ways reminded by Distributors, Ltd. that Snowball flour was very good, ano was advised to give it a trial. Som< of it came to him, but was no good and he sent it back. Before the exist ence of Distributors, Ltd., he had »< trouble in getting the Oamaru flour h( wanted. Altogether thirteen witnesses gave evidence for the Crown to the effecl that after Distributors, Ltd., was established they w’ere unable to obtaii the brands of flour desired, but hat to take what Distributors, Ltd., sen! them. The Court adjourned til 10.30 a.m to-morrow.
