TRAINING SHED.
SUITABLE BUILDING AVAILABLE. The proposal to establish a trainingshed, with dressing-room accommodation and showers installed, was referred to at Saturday afternoon’s meeting of the Egmont'A. and P.Association. ■ The president (Mr. E. A. Washer) said that the Egmont Association’s committee had met representatives of the various sports clubs and had formally offered them the use of the association’s produce shed. A resolution had been passed to the effect that committees from the Egmont Association and the'sports clubs, together with representatives of the Borough Council, meet on the show-grounds and go into the matter. It was decided that the same committee that had acted on behalf of the association continue the business in this connection. The president said that the sports bodies representatives had appeared to indicate that they considered bathroom and dressing-room accommodation to 1)0' of more importance than gymnasium accommodation The speaker said he did not think that there Whs any danger of the produce shed not suiting, as it could be altered to suit the purpose.
