Mr Charles Gordon retains 2000 acres and the home, where he will continue to live. FATAL FALL FROM HORSE. ASHBURTON, Oct. 24. Charles Dawson, aged 58, a wellknown farmer at Waterton, died in hospital this morning from a fractured skull, sustained through being thrown from a horse on Wednesday night. Deceased was dragged some distance, and was found staggering towards his home leading his horse.
