EGO CIRCLE.
FORMED IN HAWER'A. _ About twenty enthusiasts attended the meeting called last night to consider the proposed formation-of an e«g circle in Hawera. Several apologies bers ieceived from intending memV was voted to the chair :aiid briefly explained the objects of the meeting. Mr. Hughes, in moving that a Hawera and district egg circle be formed, gave much useful information from personal experience of other egg circles. The motion was carried. _ Officers were appointed as follow: President, Mr. Don Stewart; vicepresident, Mr. Tregea; executive, Mi*. Newberry, Messrs. A. Newberry Hughes, Bilton, W. Moore, Gaylard and bake; agent /and secretarytreasurer, Mr. J. C. Smith. It was decided that a joining fee of 5s and thereafter an annual subscription of 2s 6d per member be charged. The rules of the Taranaki Egg Circle with certain amendments and deletions were adopted, and votes of thanks to Mr. Hughes for his address and to the chair terminated the meeting.
