* INCREASE IN CANDIDATES. (BY TELFISRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Oct. 22. No fewer than 4570 candidates will sit for the matriculation examination this year and 502 for the accountancy examination, a total increase of 550.
