The track and weather conditions were so bad at Trentham this morning that anything in ' the nature of real work was impossible. The sand and one of the grass gallops were open, but were not used to any great extent. Practically all horses that were out were walked about, and only a. few were given half-pace work with an occasional two furlongs sprint.
