AUCKLAND, Oct. 22. 1 1 lsoners sentenced at the Supreme Court included Joseph Alarming who. lot the theft of a ease of shoes value<l at £lOl, was sentenced to eighteen months' hard labour. A Maori hall-caste boy 13f years of age, who set fire to a house at Ka-wcne, was committed to. a probation home. Another half-caste Alaori, William Lewis Penfcry, for breaking, entering and theft at Ngaruawaliia- was given twelve months’ reformative treatment. * Hone Akuira, for breaking, entering and theft at _ Gisborne, was given twelve months’ hard labour. Henry John Hackwell, for breaking and entering the Gisborne railway station with intent to commit a- crime was given twelve months’ imprisonment. '
