ALLEGED DAMAGE. (by TELEGRAPH—PRESS .ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 21. The Snpi erne Court this morning heard a claim by Jeremiah" Boyd, sheep farmer, Kaikoura, and his wife for £I2OO from John Robert Thacker, sheep farmer, Okains Bay, alleging that -serious damage to land and sheep had been caused by a fire lit by the defendant bust December. The defence was that the fire started on Boyd’s place. Defendant admitted having started a fire, but claimed it went out three days previously.
