FORTHCOMING RACE'. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATIONHAMILTON, Oct. 21. V ith the race for the Australasian sculling title, in which J. P. Hannan ami R. Arnst are principals, taking place Saturday afternoon, keen interest is being shown. The men will be engaged during the next few days in- the finishing-off process. Hannan looks well. He eased off in river work, but Arnst went solid for two miles yesterday and will row very close to fourteen stone. He looks hardened and ready for the job. Mr. F. W. Platts, stipendiary magistrate, is judge and Mr. C. H. Holloway,- also of Hamilton, umpire of the race. The scullers yesterday paid over a hundred a side as stake money and signed the conditions..
