Oct. 17. A two-storied. wool store, covering about a third of an acre, at the Botany wool-scouring works of Swinbnrn and Stephens, was destroyed bv fire last night. The store, with its valuable contents of fleece, proved extremely inflammable, and the premises were left a pile of ruins in a remarkably short space of time. The cause of the outbreak is unknown, and the damage is approximately £12,000.
