Euphemia. Bryant was being wheeled home by her sister when she suddenly asked that the chair be,stopped. She then stepped out and pushed the chair uphill. She had been ill for 30 years, during seven of which sfie had been unable to stand. She says: “Something w-ent click in my leg after Mr Hickson touched me. I was filled with faith, walking easily.” To-day the Bishop of Bradford. offered thanks at the altar for her recovery. A dumb man, w-ho was unable to speak, suddenly said: “Thank you,” when handed a cup of coffee in a marquee near the church. His wife sprang up in tremendous excitement and said: “That’s the first time he has spoken for tw-o years.” She then delightedly danced round the marquee.
