RUGBY “PANIC.”
EFFECT OE ALL BLACKS’ WIN. LONDON, Sept, 30. “A wave, of sheer hopelessness seems to have swept, the Rugby world, owing to the All Blacks' heavy defeat of Swansea,” says Sporting Life. “Such a state of panic,” it states, “is quite unnecessary. If not amusing, it would be pathetic. Because the All Blacks have run through an ordinary Welsh club side with ridiculous ease, it is carrying matters to extremes to give way to panic.”
