BKITISH TEAM’S VISIT. NO FOLLOwiISS ALLOWED. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, Oct. 14. The Dominion Bowling Association has received a letter from Mr M. Orchard, formerly of Christchurch, detailing the stops taken at Home to fiend a team of British bowlers to Australia and New Zealand. A team of six rinks will be secured, and none but first-class men will he chosen. Only bowlers will come—no followers. Mr Orchard says 14 good men had already sent in their names, including Wright, the president-elect of the English Association. The has been prepared well ahead, and the team will leave next September.
