OPERA HOUSE—TO-NIGHT. “SCARS OF JEALOUSY.” “Scars of Jealousy,” Thomas 11. Ince’s big spectacle drama, is the romantic love story of the redemption of the dissolute scion of a wealthy Southern family, who finds himself after he has been beaten into a semblance of manhood by a fierce tribe of moonshining “Ca;jan” mountaineers. A roaring forest fire, crashing tree trunks, a sky red with flames, miles of blazing pines, bloodhounds pursuing an exhausted girl as slie tremblingly throws herself into a marsh entirely surrounded by a flaming forest —these are but a. few of the thrills in Thomas H. Ince’s “Scars of Jealousy,” which will be shown finally at the Opera‘House to-night. An excellent supporting programme will be presented.
