ANOTHER MOTOR FATALITY. - CORONER’S COMMENTS. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. DUNEDIN, Oct. 13. The coroner (Mr Bartholomew) held an inquest concerning the death of John Henry Milne, aged seven, who was knocked down by a mctor-car driven by James Samuel Burrows, aged 18, on September 30. The coroner, in giving a verdict of accidental death, intimated that while he was not able to make a positive fixture of capability, he was not satisfied that a careful driver giving full attention to the road ahead would net have seen the boy, who had run thirty feet across the road before being struck. The driver’s explanation was that his eyes followed tlie beam of the headi;crhts, leaving the rest of the rond dark.
