In the Cheshire match the Cheshire side included the internationals Gracie and Locke, who appeared to better advantage in attacking in. the first half, though the All Blacks were fortunate in scoring. In the second half the visitors showed greatly improved form, and broke down Cheshire, who rallied, but the New Zealanders won through snapping up their opportunities. Hart and Steel outpaced the opposition. The Cheshire forwards played a great game. The fury of their attack was most remarkable.
