At the trial of two youths, Nicholas Guido and Tony Damico, for strangling a bonding-house keeper named Burk at Chicago, counsel for the defence in admitting their guilt claimed that they were to the same treatment as Leopold and Lo&b, who recently escaped hanging. The two accused were found guilty and sentenced to twenty-five years’ imprisonment.— Sydney Sun Cable.
