NELLIE BRAMLEY COMPANY.

AN AMUSING COMEDY. The Opera House wa s packed last night Avlien a specially selected companv, headed by Miss Brahiley, appeared in' the most, amusing comedy, ‘Tail- and Warmer.” The screamingly funny dialogue arid the comically ‘‘compromising” situations created by the decision on the one band ,of a neglected husband, and on the other of a wife whose husband had to go to the “mystic shrine,” were the features of the comedy, arid kept the’ audience in a perpetual state of merriment, and. roars of laughter punctuated the byplay on the stage. It was ril| hrigely diverting, though uerhaps somewhat overdone. As Blanny .Wheeler, the wife of the man who “keeps her wondering,” Nellie Bramley made the' most of the part, and by her clever acting was responsible' for most of the humohr of the play. . Arthur Cornell, as Billy Bartlett, gave an excellent interpretation of the husband who never did anything wrong and who alway s agreed with liis wife. His acting was most natural and was highly appreciated by all. .Sylvia McNair, as Billy’s dashing wife, acted with great spirit and gained great kudos for her good work... The other parts were well 'sustained. The dressing and the staging were good, and the whole went with a good swing throughout. A small, but very effective orchestra, in which were several unusual instruments, played very attractively. ' *
