GOVERNOR BREAKS ARTIFICIAL LEG. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Oct. 9, 8.45 a.m. . ADELAIDE, Oct. 9. While inspecting: a hosoital at Jamieson Governor Bridges had the misfortune to slip down steps, breaking a leg. After receiving attention he was able to attend the show banquet. Luckily the broken leg was Sir Tom’s artificial limb, for which a new spare part was forthcoming. Beyond a shaking. the Governor suffered no injury from the fall.
