—♦ - AGREEMENT WITH CHINA. COMMERCIAL TREATY. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received Oct. 9, 10.50 a.m.) PEKING, Oct. 8. The text is published of the agreement between the Union of Soviet Republics and the autonomous three eastern provinces of the Republic of China.. The main points are a reduction of the period for the return of the Chinese Eastern Railway to China to within four months of the original contract, which will be completely revised. It also provides, equal representation on the staff. As regards the navigation of the Sungari and the Lower Amur seaward, the contratcing parties agree to take up the. question on a basis of equality and reciprocity. The parties agree to re-demarcate their boundaries; also to prepare customs tariff and conclude a commercial treaty.
